I went into this book unsure of what to expect as I hadn’t heard much on it - but my sister recommended it to me, and she knows my love for dark romance is STRONG to say the least.

She absolutely nailed it with this rec.

This book is dark, haunting, and beautifully written in Keri Lakes signature w ay. The story was phenomenal, but what really hooked me was the MMC. He had such a unique POV and his story was so twisted and heartbreaking that it captivated me to read more.

I was genuinely on the edge the entire time ‘ trying to decipher whether or not he was a villain or a victim.

As for the rest of the book - the tension between characters, the mystery, and constant emotional unraveling, has made this story one of my all-time favourites.

10/10. Absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to read more from Keri Lake.
